Please note that Ignition TV which is is already available on Summit TV over the weekends. will on the 3rd of July becomes available to subscribers as an independent channel (265) under the Documentary genre.

It will however still broadcast over weekends and will share an encoder with Summit TV.

What does this mean? It means both channels cannot broadcast at the same time.

How will this work? Over the weekends, Summit TV will have an EPG indicating that it is closed and Ignition TV will also carry a Closure EPG message during the week, until the status of encoder sharing changes.

Impact to subscriber: As from today, the only subscriber that would be impacted are HD PVR subscribers.  They will not be able to view Summit TV unless they reboot their decoders.
